It is only a beta version for now, but it contains a lot of major improvements, including the long awaited add and edit functionality, which makes this version a complete genealogy program for stand alone use. That’s why a leading zero of the version number is now turned into a 1.

August 25th, 2010I think I need another 2 weeks and then the first beta version of Family Tree PHP 1.0 will be released. However, I have just decided on a major change, which some of you will probably not enjoy so much. I have decided to stop giving the script away for free.

And another bug fixed in version 0.6
August 25th, 2010Again a bug had been fixed in the file ‘/includes/classes/gedcom.php’. This bug is now fixed in version 0.6i, which can be downloaded now. I have done some extra testing, so I hope this time it will handle all eventualities with surname prefixes, special characters and lowercase/uppercase.
