3 bugs fixed

Monday, May 24th, 2010

There are three annoying bugs in version 0.5, which I have fixed:

  1. The calendar form did not work anymore.
  2. The edit and delete links on the dashboard comments page were broken.
  3. When searching for multimedia records, using the type field, the links to browse to next and previous results pages were broken.

A new corrected version (0.5a) is now available for download.

If you have version 0.5, you only have to upload the changed files:

  • /core/calendarform.php
  • /core/comments.php
  • /includes/searchmedia.php

And from your template set(s):

  • calendar.tpl
  • comments.tpl

I am sorry for this inconvenience.

If you still have an older version than 0.5 and want to update, you will have to do a full update.

Note that the version number of your installation will still say “0.5″, even if you do a full update to version 0.5a.

French, Norwegian, Spanish and Swedish updated (0.5a)

Thursday, May 20th, 2010

Cock Rijerkerk updated the French language file, Asbjørn Værnes updated the Norwegian language file, Jose Rodriguez updated the Spanish language file, and Anders Berg updated the Swedish language file. Thanks to them! The new versions are available for download.

I also want to use this opportunity to ask whether there is anyone who would be willing to update the Danish, German or Turkish language files. Especialy for these last two, it has been a while since they were last updated, so many (new) language items for these languages are still in English.

New translations are of course always welcome too.

A new version of Family Tree PHP is available for download: version 0.5. This version contains many bugs fixes and some major improvements. There is no need for existing users to update immediately, unless you encounter one of the fixed bugs or want to use one of the improvements.
